Census Data Tools

Census of Population and Housing. When people talk about “Census data,” they usually mean Bureau data collected from this particular survey, which asks people about their race and ethnicity, income, education, and housing status. To access 2000 data from this survey, try the:

American Community Survey. The ACS is gradually replacing the Long Form version of the Census of Population and Housing.  Access it via the:

Economic data. The Bureau also conducts surveys on economic-related issues.  Access data from these surveys via:
