
Borrowing Policy for Slides
Faculty: Trinity faculty in all departments and programs may borrow Collection slides for campus presentations and classroom teaching. Faculty must appear in person to check out and return slides – proxy use is not an option. Loan period is limited to duration of the class or presentation.Students: Student use for class presentations is permitted only if the faculty member teaching the course agrees to take responsibility for borrowing and returning the slides. Slides for presentations circulate only for the actual time of the presentation and are returned directly afterward.
Loan Period:
Loan period is limited to duration of the class or presentation. Slides may be placed on reserve ahead of time and checked out just prior to time of intended use. Slides may not be taken off campus except by special arrangement.
Circulation Procedure/Pulling Slides:
Borrower must fill out brief circulation sheet each time slides are borrowed or reserved, listing name, dept., phone, intended date of use. Borrower places selected slides into a clear vinyl binder sheet and presents this to VR staff on duty who will execute circulation procedure. If reserve is requested, slides will be held until listed day of use.
