BOXES 10/1 AND 10/2-RESIST COLLECTION--HIGH SCHOOL KIT (BOX 10/1) AND APPLICATIONS 1982 (BOX 10/2)

Box 10/1 is the collected files concerning the compilation of Resist’s "High School Kit". This is a packet of information similar to the Anti-Repression and Movement-Security Kits also produced by Resist, but the focus is on American high school organizing efforts. The "High School Kit" includes information on such topics as creating an underground newspaper, high school student rights, and student health issues. Included as well are correspondence files of people requesting kits as well as lending information about high school organizing in their areas. The kit is offered to the students themselves as well as to teachers and administrators, or others concerned with the movement in schools. There are two different editions of the kit included in this box, the 1968-69 version, and then another created in 1970. There are also several files of copies of high school underground newspapers from across the country.
