Trinity College Library Online Catalog
Contains bibliographic and descriptive data about materials available in the Trinity and Watkinson Libraries. The library collections of Wesleyan University and Connecticut College can also be searched in the online catalog.

Accessible Archives
Provides the full text of selected 19th-century African-American newspapers and Civil War newspapers in addition to the Pennsylvania Gazette (1728-1800), the Pennsylvania Newspaper Record: Delaware County (1819-1870), the Pennsylvania Genealogical Catalogue, and Godey's Lady's Book (1830-1880).

Archives USA
ArchivesUSA is a current directory of over 5,400 repositories and 118,000 collections of primary source materials across the United States. Provides keyword searching of collection descriptions and detailed information about each repository. The Watkinson Library is one of the repositories included.

Early English Books Online (EEB0)
A digital library of works from the period 1473-1700. EEBO will contain over 125,000 titles listed in Pollard and Redgrave's Short-Title Catalogue (1475-1640), Wing's Short -Title Catalogue (1641-1700), the Thomason Tracts (1640-1661), and the Early English Tract Supplement--all in full digital facsimile from the Early English Books microfilm collection. The Watkinson holds the print version of a number of the titles included.

English Short Title Catalogue (ESTC)
Provides extensive descriptions and holdings information for letterpress materials printed in Great Britain or any of its dependencies in any language--as well as for materials printed in English anywhere else in the world. Coverage includes all English monographs printed between 1475 and 1800. Materials included range from Shakespeare and Greek New Testaments to anonymous ballads, broadsides, advertisements and other ephemera. On the basis of its holdings the Watkinson has contributed significantly to the ESTC.

Evans Digital Edition Series I (1639-1800)
The Evans Digital Edition Series I (1639-1800) is the definitive resource for information about every aspect of life in 17th- and 18th-century America, from agriculture and auctions, diplomacy, foreign affairs, literature and music to religion, the Revolutionary War, temperance, witchcraft, and many other topics. The Watkinson holds the print version of many of the titles included.

19th Century Masterfile/Poole's Plus, 1802-1906
Contains periodical indices covering nearly all English-language periodicals of the late 18th-century through the early 20th-century. Trinity's subscription includes Poole's Index of Periodical Literature (1802-1907), the New York Times Index (1863-1905), and indices to U.S. Government documents (1774-1881) and U.S. Patents (1790-1873). The Watkinson has back files of many of the periodicals indexed in Poole's; a checklist is available in the Watkinson Reading Room.

RSAP: 18th and 19th Century Magazines
A guide prepared by the Research Society for American Periodicals (RSAP) with links to full texts of primarily 19th- and early 20th-century American periodicals.

U.S. Congressional Serial Set
This is a digital version of the bound, sequentially numbered volumes containing all the Reports, Documents, and Journals of the U.S. Sentate and House of Representatives for the period from 1817 through 1980. This collection contains essential primary source material on all aspects of 19th- and 20th-century American History, and at present covers up to the mid-19th century. Upon completion in 2008, the digital version of the Serial Set will consist of approximately 13,800 volumes and over 12 million pages. The digital version features topical and keyword searching. The Watkinson holds the print version of the Serial Set through the early 20th century.
