Thesis Carrels
Carrels & lockers are assigned on a first come, first serve basis to seniors writing theses. Applications for a term or academic year assignment of one of these study spaces should be made either prior to, or early in the semester in which the space will be used. Applications for student carrels & lockers are available at the Circulation Desk.
Terms:
- All materials should be placed in your locker when not in use.
- All library items must be charged out before being placed into lockers.
- Library materials that are left on the desktop will be removed and returned to the circulating collection.
- Personal materials that are left on the desktop will be removed and placed in Lost & Found.
- Reference books, bound journals, newspapers, and current issue magazines may not be placed in your locker.
- Please do not place perishable items in lockers.
- The Library is not responsible for items lost/stolen from carrels/lockers.
- Library books that you no longer need should be returned to the Circulation Desk for other readers to use.
- The Library reserves the right to open and inspect the contents of all carrels & lockers.
- A Lost Key Fee of $15 will be assessed for each key lost, and must be paid before a new key is issued.
Lockers and study carrels are made available to students thanks in part to the generosity of the Library Associates. The Library Associates is a vital group comprised of alumni, parents, College personnel and friends who share their love of learning by supporting the advancement of the Library
