Library Course Guide
Linking to a Library Database
- Go to http://library.trincoll.edu/research/tor
- Use the Browse by Subject box to find the database to which you wish to link.
- Next to the database name, click on the
sign. (this is not available under the "Best Bets" tab. You must click on one of the other tabs and find your database there.)
- In the expanded text that is displayed below the database name, copy and paste the URL shown after "Bookmark this item"

An Item from the Library Catalog
- Go to http://catalog.trincoll.edu
- Find the item you want to link to, and view it's catalog record.
- Copy and paste the URL that is shown after "Persistent link to this record"

Course Reserves for Your Class
- Go to http://catalog.trincoll.edu
- Click on the "Course Reserve" tab.
- In the "Course" drop-down, select your class, then click the Search button.
- Your course reserve list will be displayed.
- Copy and paste the URL as it is displayed in the browser's address bar.
- OPTIONAL: If you wish to shorten the URL, everything after the courseId number can be deleted. That would leave the URL looking something like this:
http://ctwweb.wesleyan.edu:7002/vwebv/search?browseFlag=N&instructorId=0&courseId=1027
Linking to a Course Guide
- Go to http://courseguides.trincoll.edu/
- Search or browse to find the guide for your course, then click into it.
- Simply copy the URL as it is displayed in the browser's address bar.
